I want… [Fashion Friday]
I don’t know about you lovely people, but I am doing a serious exhale now that the weekend is here. This entire week has been a mad rush of transitions and unwanted surprises. I feel a bit like I have been fighting to stay afloat and now that the weekend is here, I am embracing it with a passion! I have some sister time planned for a dress fitting, a little shopping trip with my father to buy something beyond awesome that I have been waiting a year to get, a bit of QT with the gentleman in my life and teaching a few spin classes.
In the sense the fact that it is Friday and it is time to let our hair down a little and do a celebration dance or two, I thought it would be only appropriate to kickstart the weekend with a bit of blatant consumerism and shameless oogling.
These are a few pieces on my fashion bucket list. [Keep in mind, I am being realistic. I would love to toss a Burberry trench in here, but I need to wait a few decades before that would be an option.]
This DVF dress:
These Tory Burch flats:

A satchel from the Cambridge Satchel Company. [my next purse, ya'll]

Anything from the REISS Spring lookbook:

My absolute favourite shop in England. I lusted over a silk, off-white blazer for months until everyone in the store knew me by name. I would come after the gym, because it was near by and try on clothes with my sports bra straps peeking out, but they somehow didn’t seem care.
And the entire management team cheered when I bought the blazer.
I love REISS.
Anyways. That is my off-task drivel for the day.

What is on your fashion bucket list? Give me some more ideas!

Oh my yes…a list and a half. I actually keep a “want” page in my Moleskine where I cross items off as I destroy my finances. Not OK, I know. A Louis Vuitton Keepall, MORE Nixon (or any) watches (and someday, someday, SOMEDAY a Rolex), a pair of Ray-Ban Clubmasters (which are my next purchase), and a shopping “spree” (can one even use that word with the lack of funds I possess?) to Queen Street, Toronto for random summer-wear items at random stores along the way and then a happy dance through the doors of the best record store, Rotate This, to blow whatever I have left.
I do keep my wants pretty realistic (even boring) but I’d be lying if I said I didn’t carouse the One Stop Money Drop, Net-a-Porter, every once and awhile just have to nosey-round.
And the day you buy your Burberry trench is the day I latch myself to you so I can wear it too…so maybe keep it on the down low…from me anyway.
And thank you for the kitty dance.
Let me know when you get the Louis Vuitton bag and we will have a party to celebrate!
As for Toronto, we should go on a spring Saturday afternoon window shopping tour to get warmed up and ready for our future wealth!
And I love Rotate This as well. Jesse and I go each May to remind ourselves what an awesome place Toronto is!
And I will share my Burberry if you share your Louis Vuitton!
Yes. Yes to all above!
OMG THAT DRESS.
Word.
I have that exact same satchel. I had my bfs mom pick it up when she was in England. They are amazing!
Good to know.Lucky girl! What colour do you have?
That same color, kind of a medium brown
