Running Nova Scotia
Happy Wednesday, everyone!
I just got back from travelling to the East coast for the first time to celebrate a friend’s wedding. It was a gorgeous place and the scenery was off the hook. I am finally starting to feel recovered to do more frequent workouts in my off season and I took full advantage while we were travelling. I did 3 runs including a workout and a couple hikes.
One of my favourite parts of travelling is that you can do new routes with fresh scenery. I thought I would share a couple of my favourite workout views from Nova Scotia with the files if you ever find yourself in the area and want to go check it out:
I absolutely loved the East coast and fall was an amazing time to visit. This was my last big trip planned for 2016 and although it was awesome running Nova Scotia, I am ready to be home for a while. I have been away almost every weekend this summer and it is time to regroup and take a breather. I have some huge travel plans for 2017 and so I am looking forward to a period of resting up, sticking around locally for a while and getting ready to GO again next year.
The focus for the remainder of my 2016 year will be on prepping my house for some serious winter training, MAYBE doing one more half marathon to close out the season and maintaining the fitness I have built over the year.

Your photos are great Jess! The last place I travelled to and ran was Salt Spring Island, which isn’t that far from home here in Vancouver but it still felt like an amazing getaway with epic scenery. Thinking about it is making me miss summer a LOT!
