Holiday Giveaway: Sport Suds
This was a big weekend for me. After weeks of packing, organizing and planning, I finally moved into a fabulous condo with my blogging buddy and real life best friend, Angela from Eat Spin Run Repeat.
I am actually a complete minimalist when it comes to decorating and most of life in general so it was a fairly stress free and easy move.
When I go on vacations, I am made fun of for how small my suitcase is. The only place where that shifts is when it comes to my sports gear. I have closet full of sports rehab articles and our store space is chocked full of skis, snowboards, snowshoes and bikes.
My ideal living space is fresh, white walls, natural light and tons of green plants. I am so excited because that is exactly the space that we are in.
Although we just moved in on Saturday, by 9 AM on Sunday, the place was decorated, our things were organized and we were ready to start running errands. There is almost too much Type A in this place to handle.
I guess what we are saying is that we are moved in and ready to host all the blogger meet ups! At least we have the supplements for it…
Although we have a pretty healthy selection, which is bound to happen when you live with a food blogger, I still snuck in two of my vices.
It will take a couple days to feel completely settled in and find homes for everything, but it feels good to have it completed.
I wanted to switch gears and chat about another exciting thing happening this December over here at Laces and Lattes and that is TONS of giveaways and discounts. Every Monday until Christmas, I will be posting a giveaway package and you have an entire week to enter! I will be drawing names every Sunday at 12 PM EST.
This week is a brand new and quite necessary partnership I have from Sport Suds.
Specially designed for sports enthusiasts, the Sport Suds line of high performance cleaning products removes the most extreme dirt and odours to leave you feeling and smelling clean and fresh like never before. Each high-powered cleaner is specially formulated to do one specific job.
All Sport Suds products are sustainably sourced and made from naturally occurring materials. Products are readily biodegradable, non-toxic, and septic and grey water safe. As well as gentle, hypoallergenic, non-toxic, fragrance free and never tested on animals.
Even I can’t mess up laundry day.
To keep you holiday season stink-free, they are giving away a prize pack to a Laces and Lattes reader.
Featuring two of their most popular products, Sport Suds Washing Machine Cleaner with Sport Suds Laundry Detergent, this prize pack retails at $41.90 and allows you to keep your washing machine and your clothes squeeky clean.
I love sport suds because I am hard on my clothes and probably sweat more than a normal person. Roll in the reality that I spend most of my workouts trapsing through the forest collecting burrs and mud and it comes down to the fact that I need a hard core laundry detergent.
To enter the contest, here is what you need to do:
Like Sports Suds on Facebook and Twitter and leave a comment telling me what in your laundry basket needs the deepest cleaning.
For extra entries:
Sign up for the Laces and Lattes newsletter, to be released January 2015!
Like Laces and Lattes on twitter, facebook or instagram and tell me about it the comments. (You get an additional entry for each action.
The winner will be announced next Monday!
A final note that it is CYBER MONDAY and some of my favourite companies are sharing ALL the discounts!

My Nike “dri-fit” shirt – sure it stays dry, but it sure stinks! It’s one of my only pieces of workout clothing that seems to hold a smell after a wash. Sports Suds to the rescue!

Hi neighbour! 🙂 I’d say my dri-fit shirts need the most attention (I usually try to put a half-cup of baking soda in the wash with them, helps a bit). Although the more my boys get into hockey season, I think their gear is shortly going to be giving mine a run for the money!

Probably my beard cloth!! My beard is so magnificent that it picks up all manner of dirt as I effortlessly glide through the trails. The cloth itself is made form the finest Egyptian cotton so only the best cleaning products can be used, plus as this cloth intimately touches the majestic beard the cloth must be perfectly cleansed/pure after every wash.

Oh gosh – my Brooks Nightlife jacket needs a good wash! It’s that lightweight material that just absorbs the stink!

Congrats on the move!
I’m glad to see I am not the only minimalist decorator out there! 😉

borax seems to help my laundry. I need it because not only do I workout regularly, but I am a third grade teacher and I am sweaty, messy and gross every single day!

Hooray for your move. I bet it feels good to have the actual moving part behind you so now you can focus on getting settled in. Two type A’s in one place is going to be interesting, although you did bring your coffee so it’ll be fine.
I’m getting ready to buy new workout gear simply because I can’t get the stench out of some of the shirts I own. Dri Fit are great for keeping sweat at bay, but not so much removing odors. Maybe the sports suds will help.

My tank tops take a real beating… from working out to spilling my after workout smoothie on them…

My running shirts and sports bras! They stink! Is it even possible to get that smell un- embedded??
