What I Am Wearing Wednesday
Happy Wednesday!
In the spirit of November being a little blah and the fact that I am in my off season at the moment, there are less training posts and race recaps round these parts. I decided to have a little fun with it and when I received a few follow up emails with questions on my last coffee date post, I thought I would dedicate an entire post to some of the things I am wearing right now, both on the trails and at work.
This post does contain some sponsored links. The occasional sponsored post helps to keep Laces and Lattes up and running and I appreciate your support in everything – you guys are the best.
FOR WORK
I ordered this dress earlier this year (in black because literally almost all of my dresses are black). Also, the photos in this post are stunning indoor “it’s dark whenever I am not at work and I think personal photo shoots are looked down upon in our offices” quality.
The best part?

POCKETS
Every morning, I need to make the choice post-workout whether I have a solid breakfast or I do my hair for the day. These were taken after an early morning swim practice this week so you can see which one traditionally wins out…
Another one of my favourite orders is this one. (Also black, but does come in colours if you are into that kind of thing.)
I love that I can customise the designs to whatever I want and they will be delivered within a week. I received a lot of feedback on this last post so eShatki offered a 10% discount off all orders with the code lacesandlattes.
FOR HOME
For a girl who normally just wears black everything, I am loving these leggings. I am finding them to be the perfect weekend pant – I wear them while I am running errands and then if I end up running, they work perfectly fine as sports pants.
FOR RUNNING
Right now, my runs are either commuting to the gym for strength or long trail runs to maintain fitness. Even though I don’t need as much recovery right now, I still love wearing my compression for the extra support, leg protection (when I am running through woods) and warmth, especially if I wear shorts.
In other news, my team mate has uploaded our videos from the Raid International Gaspesie in partnership with Get Out There Magazine. You can watch the links here:
(If you are interested, there are 4 videos. If you leave the video rolling, it will go through the playlist).
My next adventure race is this weekend at Raid the Hammer. Who else is racing?
Finally, don’t forget to enter to win a Polar M200 unit.
There have been a ton of great entries already and you get see all the details on how to win here.
Have an awesome Wednesday, everyone!
What a great group of videos. I am so proud and inspired by your stamina. As always I enjoyed your post today. I love you, Papa John
Ok – dresses with pockets = the GREATEST. You look fab! And also great: Those videos. Your AR stuff always blows my mind. You’re B-to the adass. 🙂
