Traveller’s Luck
So recently I happily announced that soon I would be doing this weekend’s long run on a beach in Florida. Well, I am sure I will, eventually. But I am writing this from an airport lounge in Toronto when I should be arriving in Tampa.
Let’s review the nightmare that was today. I checked out of my Shakespeare class early and hit the highway. Until I reached standstill traffic. I sat there and watched my arrival time creep closer and closer to the boarding time and I pulled a U turn and drove the wrong way on the highway to the nearest exit. Did the vehicle really need to roll over? A police pulled me over and I thought I was going to go to jail (*not really) and he just wanted to help me. GO figure.
So I made it to London and flew to Toronto. I arrive and go through US customs. And see my flight to Newark has been delayed so that I will miss my connection to Florida. So I rushed to different booths, each airline blaming the problem on the other until someone decided to help me and book me the next flight to Newark…which left early as she was booking me so I missed that.
And then I found out my luggage was gone.
And then I am now at my current situation where I travelled all day and still not left the country. I am hoping to jump on a stand by flight to Orlando or else I am headed to Newark and letting them figure out what to do with me.
And my biggest frustration through all of this is that I may miss my long run on the beach in the morning.
In an attempt to salvage the day, I am looking through some great retrospective work that Anastasia of Beverly Hills sent me.

Can we talk about Rooney Mara? Or more specifically, The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo? I am not a movie girl. I would trade watching 10 movies for 10 minutes with a good book. And I am buying this DVD the moment it is released.
I proclaimed my long lasting love for Meryl Streep in Julie and Julia a number of posts back. Which obviously makes me thrilled she was shown here.
Emma Stone is one of the most refreshing actresses in Hollywood. Love this look.
Sorry that this got rushed beyond belief, but I have had a turn of luck and am boarding a midnight flight to Orlando.
Au revoir! (For real this time..)

NOOOO Jess, you left Shakespeare early and it still wasn’t early enough! I hope everything’s going ok for you now! Take care and have fun and run.
I went into Sephora last year and just shopped with one of the male associates for HOURS. Eventually he convinced me to try an eyebrow pencil. He actually used Anastasia products (the clicky up pencil form) and I really liked the result of it. But i haven’t purchased it. In fact, I completely forget the color he chose for me (I can now narrow it down to two). I always eye in when I’m in Sephora…
I have had an Anastasia giveaway on my blog and I have more coming up. I will keep you posted!!
