Laces and Lattes gets prAna’d

Full disclosure: I hate shopping. So when prAna shared an opportunity to try out some of their clothes for fall, I was delighted. This is an opportunity from my partnership with SweatPink.

I am a very picky consumer of clothing. I dislike shopping with the hatred of a thousand burning suns and when people visit my apartment and see my clothing storage they often question if I have another closet somewhere else?

I am a minimalist when it comes to clothing so the pieces that I do own or add to my wardrobe make me look good and they feel good on me.

I chose the Stacia Sweater in charcoal and the London Jean in Indigo.

My initial thoughts with the clothes are that as with most quality pieces, they just fit brilliantly. I am a low maintenance girl so I love when my clothes work for me and these certainly fit the bill.

The sweater is organic cotton. It is warm enough for the changing season but cool enough to throw over a work out top and just go. I love the little details on it and basically have not taken it off since I’ve gotten it.

The pants are off the chain.

captureI wasn’t sure how well they would fit considering I wasn’t able to try them on but I found the online sizing chart to be super accurate and the pair fit like a glove. I tend to favour the simple, dark wash when it comes to jeans. The only thing I noticed was that the hem was pretty tight so I needed to take special care when I pull them off, but it does help to keep them in place when I am wearing them.

I guess the reason I really love these clothes is because the company resonates with me. They are focused on making clothes for healthy, active, free spirited life styles which speaks to me and what I need in clothing. I need it to be durable, comfortable, and not overly ornate because it will be going on lots of adventures and potentially collect some grass or coffee stains along the way.
