Goals for August 2017
We are about to start the last real month of summer which makes me a little sad about how quickly the season is going. I guess it is just all the more reason to soak it up and ENJOY August. First though, I wanted to share what I did in July.
Do a freaking Ironman
YES! It was a perfect first experience and you can read about it here.
Kick off some marketing innovation in KW
It has been a pretty big month of personal development for me. Beyond meeting to establish the groundwork for a number of marketing and local initiatives, I have begun some blog coaching, life coaching and executive coaching. It is a great use of time since I have wrapped up heavy training and it is a good way to balance out all the other areas of my life at the moment.
I had kept it pretty short for July and I am going to keep this same focus for August. Here’s what I am wanting to do in August:
Have a vacation in BC and compete in ITU AG World Championships
Mid August, I am headed out to Penticton to compete in the ITU AG Duathlon World Championships. I am looking forward to a fun event and the adventures and exploring around BC that will follow. Mark and I are road tripping through the mountains and doing lots of trail running, hiking and biking. I am really looking forward to it.
Enroll for a course this fall
The last couple years in for work, I have been just catching my breath and adapting to changes. Now that some of the dust has settled, I am going to pick up a few courses and keep getting better at communicating!
Read more books
When I read a book, it means I am relaxing somewhere (often outside) and my feet are up. I have not done much of this lately so basically my goals are to relax and vacation for August. Rough life.
This is a short one today! I hope you all have a sunshiney, awesome weekend. I will leave you with a much-requested recipe on my insta-stories this week:
Sounds like another fabulous month ahead for you, Jess! I really hope we can meet up on your trip out here and I’m super excited to hear more about the coaching you’re doing! Sounds right up your alley. 🙂
