September Coffee Date
Well, it has been quite the September, friends.
Although I have not abandoned coffee, if we were sitting down together to get caught up right now, I would probably be drinking an Amazing Grass effervescent drink. I have been using these regularly since the beginning of August and it has been solving two big issues for me – one being water consumption and the other being fruit and veggie consumption.
As I mentioned in my goals post, September was a buckle-up-and-hold-on type of month and I have been terrible with my hydration and veggies this month. It has been a lot of eating whenever I can and I have been sticking a tube or two of these tablets into my bag whenever I travel.
Basically, these little guys are similar to other companies who make effervescent sports drink tablets but instead of sports hydration, it offers a full serving of fruits and veggies with ingredients like kale, spinach, turmeric, cinnamon, etc with flavours of Lemon Lime and Berry. Chances are, if you have been around me in the past month, I have added this to your drink to try. (Don’t worry – I ask first!)
If you haven’t been around me in the past couple months, don’t worry. I am giving away some of these for you to try in October. This opportunity is provided through my partnership with Fit Approach and you can also purchase any Amazing Grass product for 40% off with the code SweatPink17.
What else am I loving this month?

Sophia Amorusa had taken a hiatus from her podcast for a while but recently has brought it back and I am so glad she did. On each episode of the podcast, Sophia interviews boundary-pushing women who’ve made their mark—eschewing polite conversation and extracting solid advice from the lessons they’ve learned along the way.

USARA was an incredible experience and I am excited to share the race through the lens of my teammate, Ed Cyr. He will be sharing his account of his first race being at a National Championship level. Spoiler alert: he crushed it.

That little spot is near an art gallery near my house. I stop by it whenever I ride by – I LOVE it. Have an awesome day, Jennifer.
