Dec14

LoveRunBox and Reeses PB Burgers

Well good morning everyone!

I am not a fan of how quickly December is passing by. I am still not completely done Christmas shopping and considering most of my Christmas events are this week and next weekend, it’s time to pick up the pace.

If you are looking for a last minute gift for a runner type on your list, you can check out my suggestions here OR you can get them a Run Love Box.

Basically, it’s a subscription based box for runners that is $15/month and delivers 5 run style products to your door to test out every month. I was given one to try out and I loved it.

In the box was some amazing organic coffee (WIN), some Nuun (and we already know I love that), a new to me bar called GoMacro, some Burts Bees lip balm and portable shower towelettes which is fairly vital because I often go directly from running to a social event.

Exhibit A was this weekend when I went straight from a rainy run into the Works which is my favourite burger place to demolish the Reeses Peanut Butter Burger that broke the internet.

It is actually as good as described and I ate the whole thing.

Anyways, back to the LoveRunBox. It was founded by an awesome friend of mine who now lives in BC. About a year ago, I was sitting in Starbucks and she came up and started talking to me because of my blog and we have been fast friends ever since, bonded over a mutual love of running and caffeine.

She is not just a runner, she is a medical doctor and a triathlete for Team Canada. You can and should follow her adventures on her blog.

Are you done your Christmas shopping?

What did you do this weekend?

Reese’s Peanut Butter burger…I just don’t know if I would ever order that. That gift box looks great though. I’ve seen those Macro bars kicking around so would love to know if they’re any good.

I will let you know, Jen. They seem pretty small but they may be sample size?

Ummmmm I definitely eyed that Reese Burger at the works a couple weeks ago! But wasn’t sure how it would be! So now I think I have to get it next time!

It was probably one of the best things I have ever eaten. Can’t promise gluten free though!!
